Quarterly Food Pantry Sundays

Seeing the need to provide for the food insecure in our community, members of our congregation founded The Bensenville-Wood Dale Food Pantry in the lower level of our church along with the schools and civic organizations in our area. The Pantry has since spun-off as its own 501(c)3 organization, but still resides in our facility, and along with the dedicated director and volunteers, has fed countless families.

Every quarter, our congregation takes up a collection to fund specific needs the Pantry has to provide the very best for the clients who come every Saturday. Look for announcements in the Sunday Bulletin and the Monthly Newsletter.

Snack & Chat

Every Sunday after worship between September and June, we gather for refreshments in Dettmann Hall. It’s a great opportunity to catch up and socialize. Some Committees meet during this time and many ideas and insights are exchanged. If you’d like to host one Sunday, there’s a sign-up on the Great Hall bulletin board, or you can contact either Cheryl or the church office.
